Perched on a hilltop in the heart of Philadelphia's Main Line, rests SAVONA.  Built in 1765, SAVONA was once headquarters for Revolutionary War figure, Aaron Burr.  The restaurant is now a Northeastern Corridor destination for fine dining and casual sophistication. Consistent, creative, high quality dining & seamlessly orchestrated service has been the hallmark of Savona's success for over 20 years.  The world of food and wine is ever changing.  The newly renovated Savona continues to be on the cutting edge of the culinary arts offering guests a view into the kitchen through a glass wall.  The state of the art display kitchen features a wood burning oven and open charcoal fired grill. The menu offers a tour of Italy from north to south and coast to coast.  The wine program is unmatched offering guests over 1,200 wine selections to choose from.  The relationships we make with those we serve is the foundation of our progress and has been the hallmark of our success since 1997.

Savona has received hundreds of awards and accolades since its opening in 1997.  As a result, Savona has become a Philadelphia gem with guests visiting from all over the world.  Savona is a ZAGAT- Philadelphia top 3 highest rated Italian restaurant, has 3 bells from the Philadelphia Inquirer-Craig LaBan, a Best of Award from Wine Spectator and has a Best Chef Award, Best Restaurant Award and Best Sommelier Award from publications such as Main Line Magazine as well as Philadelphia Magazine.  Association.

Savona prides itself on having a world class team of experts ready and available to serve our most valued guests. Chef Andrew Masciangelo is proud to mentor, train and develop their staff to grow and move onto prestigious positions within the hospitality industry after they leave Savona.  Savona is a kind of special training ground for hospitality professionals.  There are more than 75 people that are working in Philadelphia kitchens that have been trained and developed by Chef Masciangelo.  Two of our General Managers moved on to become the General Manager's of Michelin 3 star restaurants in China and one of our sommeliers became one of 30 female Master Sommelier's in the world. Service is of paramount importance at Savona.  Many of our top service staff are recruited from France. This blend of American and French culture adds a dimension of service uniquely offered to only guests who dine at Savona.
